Development
Elite Ladders remains committed to a strong development path.
The following modules, work and add-ons will be developed for EGL Advanced over the next 6 months, in order of expected creation. Some of this work will be free and some will be priced. We have included costs below but they may be subject to revision.
Facebook
Optional 'Register/Log in with FaceBook' .
Facebook sharing such as each comment, challenge or match report creating a post on the client's facebook page. This will really help supercharge the viral marketing of your site.
Status: Being worked on currently. Expecting release shortly.

League Add-on
The league module will be a very heavy add-on with a lot of flexbility built in allowing you to run a combination of EU and USA style leagues, with Wins, Draws and losses, promotion and relegation, automated playoffs and scheduled/round-robin matches.
Status - Being worked on currently. All clients will get the chance to test this module and add final ideas to it.

Live Events Add-on
This will allow you to hold live event nights. Admins can create an event for any given date and time, show the award, add a banner, announcement, forum link, rules and dictate how many 'rooms/lobbys' and total amount of members will be allowed.
Members will be able to sign up to a scheduled event and choose a username for the event (typically their online GamerTag for that game)
Admins can create staff to specifically run any event.
Designated staff can report back the event results to the site and an admin can finalize the results which then rewards members with XP for each Live Event category with its own Leaderboard AND their Members XP. The event is then automatically archived so members can always see it.
There is a block that shows Upcoming Events, a full events listing page, and members profiles are updated with their results.

However, before it is released clients will get the chance to fully test this module and add final ideas to it.

Video Room
Using Youtube to avoid server load issues.
Admin sets categories.
There will be a main Video page with member videos, latest videos, highest rated videos, latest comments.
Members can rate AND also comment on any video.
A link is supplied so that members can add any video as their chosen video for their Team or Profile.
Admins have the ability to delete any entry simple by clicking on an X that appears by the video.
2 new blocks will be supplied which you can use on the side or home page of your site. One that shows the highest rated member videos and one that shows the latest videos uploaded.
Option to add all new videos to the home page of the site (depdendent on theme)
Status - Probable start in early January.

Challenging/MatchFinder
General improvement so it is more like Gamebattles, perhaps even better, The key being that we need to make it as easy as possible for members of a site to create matches and view available matches, with better anonymity.

Tournament Enhancement
The whole tournament section, although improved in EGLA needs further improvement and flexiblilty and other modes.

Mobile Users
Special EGL views for smartphone users, concentraing on challenges, matchmaking and reporting.
Status - Expected start in early 2012.

New theme
More flexibility with at least 3 color options.
Status - A forum thread will be created to get your ideas on this. We will be looking for a great template and somebody experienced to slice it.
Expected cost: One set of FREE themes and one set of premium themes at $45
Blogs/Articles
Identical in essence to the Video Room Mod but users can post articles instead of videos. This will bring a new angle of user activity to the site and will also allow you to do things like Game Reviews.
Status - Expected start in Spring 2012.
