* Elite Ladders will run on the bare minimum of hosting packages. Any basic hosting solution from any hosting specialist will more than suffice for up to 5000 active members. We DO recommend a hosting specialist that offers a Capanel (TM). We do NOT recommend using Godaddy, Hostgator or Enom due to known issues.

Personal Requirements

Elite Ladders is a large, powerful PHP based website. We do have many clients who have come to us with no prior knowledge, at all, of websites or hosting and we have been able to lead them through the process, and the AdminCP area of the script has been simple enough for them to work with.

However, to really get a unique look such as theme changes and adding 3rd party code then some understanding of HTML/PHP will be of benefit, but not critical. Also, within the AdminCP, you are able to do the following anyway:

• Add new images to the rotator as seen on the home page
• Add news articles, accessed from the homepage
• Add a new announcement on the news ticker - site wide
• Change the YouTube video
• Change the links for Facebook, Twitter, Youtube

Of course, all operational functions are carried out in the AdminCP anyway so from a point of view of operating your new site, you are fully covered.

We will always provide advise on moving blocks around or adding other PHP widgets into the script.

Local Installations

We cannot support or help with local installations on WAMP, LAMP, etc.
